About Incap/Governance/Directing Bodies Directive Council of the Institute of Nutrition of Central America and Panama -INCAP-, is the highest management body of the institution made up of the Ministers of Health of the eight Member States (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua , Panama and the Dominican Republic) and the Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO). The Board of Directors will oversee the operation of INCAP within the Strategic Institutional Framework and according to the provisions described in the basic agreement. The meetings of the Council will be held ordinarily once a year and extraordinarily when requested by at least two of its members and will be called by the Director of INCAP. Consultive Council of the Institute of Nutrition of Central America and Panama -INCAP- is to constitute a technical-advisory instance to the Board of Directors of INCAP, which in a regulated manner supports the orientation and fulfillment of the resolutions adopted on the work of the Institute and that systematically monitor and evaluate its technical cooperation programs in compliance with the functions of training human resources, research, technical assistance and communication and scientific-technical information. INCAP's Advisory Council is made up of the Directors General of Health of the eight Member States (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and the Dominican Republic), the Director of the Institute, who will act as Technical Secretary, and a Representative of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), appointed by the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau.
