Mission
INCAP has as mission to support the efforts of Member States, providing technical cooperation to achieve and maintain Food and Nutrition Security of their populations, through its basic functions of research, information and communication, technical assistance, training and mobilization of human resources, and mobilization of financial and non financial resources as a support to its mission.
Vision
Its vision within the framework of the Central American Integration is to be a leading, self-sustainable and permanent institution in the field of food and nutrition in Central America and beyond its borders.

Integrationist Spirit
We develop our actions with a high respect for diversity. We promote, internally and externally among all human groups, tolerance, agreement and teamwork, because we are convinced of the advantages of complementarity and synergies.
Equity
We provide our technical support services, with a rights-based approach, promoting decision-making and the execution of actions aimed at reducing unjust differences in the nutrition of population groups in the Member States, objectively considering the dimension and opportunity for satisfaction their needs, based on their political, economic, geographical, cultural, religious, ethnic and gender conditions.
Solidarity
We feel deeply united and committed to our peers, so we provide our services with empathy for their needs, expectations and interests, participating proactively and disinterestedly in the development of learning initiatives, cooperation and mutual support, in search of better conditions of life and the generation of common welfare.
