Committee Members

 

This committee is a multidisciplinary entity and is composed by expert scientists in biomedicine, nutrition and social areas, with age and gender balance. It consists of a minimum of seven and a maximum of eleven internal members, with a minimum of two community representatives and external reviewers, as needed. It consists of people from different genders and training.

Community Representatives: Each time a study to be carried out in a community is reviewed, and when the internal committee considers important to have opinion from community representatives, they will be invited to participate in the study review.

 

Procedure to join the IEC as internal or external member:

  2. Access the online course on research and protection to persons in the following link:   http://pphi.nihtraining.com/users/login.php
  3. After finishing the course online, a certificate will be sent, which has to be presented to IEC Secretary, Ms. Walleska de Rodríguez or by
