Dr. Mazariegos presented preliminary results of the study carried out at the INCAP Research Center for the Prevention of Chronic Diseases (CIIPEC) on inequities in obesity in Latin American cities.
During the meeting with SALURBAL researchers, updates were given on the availability and compilation of data, the harmonization process and data analysis in the countries that collaborate with SALURBAL. In addition, spaces for discussion were fostered to identify opportunities to advance in the development of the project.
INCAP's participation in the meeting made it possible to socialize the work that is being carried out and to specify new opportunities for collaboration to promote urban health in the Latin American region.
