Methodology |
Longitudinal study with subjetcs who have participated in three previous studies at CIIPEC. This study included the following measurements: Arteria stiffness: pulse wave velocity and augmentation index Physical activity patterns: accelerometry and pedometers Physical fitness: peak oxygen uptake and 6 minutes walk test. Behavioral factors: food frequency questionnaire and sociodemographic factors. Body composition: 4-compartment model to estimate body fat percentage Total energy expenditure: minute by minute heart rate monitoring technique.
