Investigador principal y co investigador en las siguientes áreas: prevención de cáncer, enfermedades cardiovasculares, nutrición humana y epidemiología. Ha participado en varios estudios a nivel comunitario y el primer nivel de atención en salud relacionados con enfermedades cardiovasculares y prevención de diabetes.
